How To Root YU Yunicorn 6.0 Marshmallow
Preparation of YU Ynicorn before rooting:-
1) Take a full backup of your Phone before heading to ” Successfully Root YU Yunicorn with 6.0 Marshmallow ”
2) Enabling Developer Mode, USB Debugging and OEM unlock
- Open Settings >> About Phone >> Tap On “Build Number” for 7 Times To Enable Developer Options.
- In Developer Settings, >> Enable USB Debugging and Turn on “Oem Unlock.”
3) Download All-In YU Ynicorn Zip File Contains Driver, Recovery.img, and ADB Tools.

How to Root YU Yunicorn which runs on 6.0 Marshmallow and Install TWRP
Now unzip the download folder and open it – and copy SuperSU-v2.65.zip into internal storage to your YU Ynicorn.
Then in that folder, open ADBDriverInstaller.exe and connect your YU Ynicorn to your PC.
Install the required ADB drivers and then by holding the Shift key press the right mouse key in that folder then open the command window here.
In the Command window type ” adb reboot bootloader ” now your device will reboot into Fastboot wait for a while and proceed to the next step.
Then type ” fastboot devices ” and you can find your device in the below list.
Now flash your recovery with this command ” fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ”
Now your phone is flashed with TWRP recover successfully – unplug your phone and hold the power button till your phone turns off.
After turning off your phone – Now it’s time to boot into recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Power Button at a time.
Now after booting into recovery mode wait for 5 seconds and swipe right to confirm binary flash.
Then Click on ” install ” and scroll down and find for SuperSU-v2.65.zip file and flash it and click on reboot.
Note: First Boot may take a minute while after flashing SUperSU
Now your YU Ynicorn is successfully Rooted and flashed with TWRP recovery – after booting update your Super SU app from the Google play store.
