By the end of the year, Xiaomi has a very busy schedule. The company prepares several devices from different categories: from “smart” electronics and accessories for smartphones and tablets. While the whole world held its breath before the September announcement of the frameless Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi is preparing for the presentation of the Mi Note 3 Phablet, which will take place today.
The presentation became known directly from the former manager of public relations company Yan Lin. The corresponding post he published in the social network Weibo:
A little information is known about the device. Insiders point to Xiaomi’s plans to keep the display bent around the edges and equip the gadget with the flagship Snapdragon 835 processor, as well as 8 GB of RAM.
Mi Note 2 debuted late last year, and this summer the company released an update for the ‘Special Edition’ with an expanded to 6 GB of RAM and an optimized Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The cost of the updated smart-pad was $ 430. Apparently, Mi Note 3 will cost about the same. The start of smart pad sales is scheduled for September 5.
