Owners of the “flagship killers” will receive a new version of the operating system among the first – at least in the beta test
After the release of Android 8.0 Oreo, many manufacturers began to test a new operating system on supported devices. Among them was the company OnePlus, which already sent out a limited group of owners of smartphones OnePlus 3 firmware OxygenOS 16 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Since the firmware is being tested, there are a lot of bugs in it. Anonymous beta tester noted that at the moment in the OnePlus 3 with Android 8.0 Oreo installed, the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules are unstable, and the NFC sensor is not active at all. Nevertheless, the Chinese company intends to release a stable version of OxygenOS 16 firmware in mid-September. It is expected that around this time an updated “green robot” will appear for the newer smartphones of the manufacturer – OnePlus 3T and 5.

Recall, the first Android 8.0 Oreo users found in the new version of the operating system a lot of features that Google has not told: the boot log algorithm, the ability to install themes without superuser rights, the activation of Wi-Fi depending on the location. Unfortunately, there were some errors connected with the Bluetooth protocol.
