#1 The New iPhone Transfers Data Wirelessly

Here’s a solid reason to upgrade your old iPhone to iOS 11 before selling it or pass it to a family member. iOS 11 has a new autoconfiguration feature where you can start using your new iPhone just bringing it to your old iPhone.

Scan the new iPhone using the camera of your old iPhone, Apple authenticates and transfers data, settings, and other content to your new device. Even you synchronize your passwords through a secure connection.

This means that now you need not use iTunes to back up the iPhone and then restore it to your new phone.

#2 Shift Display to True Tone

True Tune, a feature already have the iPad Pro and is finally available for the iPhone. This feature changes the color temperature of the screen depending on their environment. Therefore, if you find yourself in a dimly lit place your phone screen will have a warm tone.

Unless you have explicitly turned off this feature during setup it is enabled by default for all. But you might want to turn it off quickly if the function does not work as advertised in your current environment.

Simply slide up from the bottom to display the new Control Center, then tap and hold the Brightness bar. Here, at the bottom, you will find the True Tone button. Touch to deactivate the function.

iOS 11 allows you to scan QR codes directly from the camera application. You do not need to do anything special or download any app. Simply open the app, point the camera at the QR code and, in a second, will receive a notice telling you what it is.

#7 Use New Photo and Video Formats

iOS 11 has new file formats for photos and videos. New, called HEVC HEIF and are much more efficient and can provide the same type of quality with less than 50 percent of the storage space. Go to Settings> Camera> Formats and switch to high efficiency.
