Google Launches Youtube Music App Exclusively for Music

Google announced the creation of an exclusive YouTube channel for music, with the launch of a mobile application.

The company that owns YouTube reported in its official blog that the popularity of this website for watching music videos or simply listening to music, “with one of the richest music catalogs in the world”, has meant that to date they have paid “more than 3,000 million dollars to the music industry”.

The new YouTube Music application for iPhones and for mobile phones that operate with the Android system will be free , but if you want to avoid advertising, in the US you will have to pay 9.99 dollars (9.30 euros) a month after a free trial period of two weeks.

Subscribers of the new service will also be able to access music videos and favorite lists that they have made in need of an Internet connection.

Apart from the agreements that YouTube has with many record labels to offer the work of its musicians, any artist will be able to upload a video to this website and “be discovered by a billion people around the world,” the company says in its statement.
