How to Downgrade OnePlus 5 from Oreo to Nougat


 
In case if you have flashed TWRP recovery (ROOTED), then you should rollback to Oxygen recovery. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Copy the Oxygen recovery on the phone root folder.
  2. Boot into TWRP.
  3. Then flash Oxygen recovery.
  4. After successfully flash.
  5. Reboot your device.

Now at this point, your device is still running on Android Oreo now follow steps to Rollback or Downgrade to Android Nougat:

  1. Copy the downloaded Downgrade files to root folder and turn off the device.
  2. Wait 5-6 seconds.
  3. Then simultaneously press the Power button and Volume + to boot the phone into recovery mode.
  4. Use volume keys to navigate and select recovery mode.
  5. Now select or tap on “Install Update”
  6. Choose the rollback files. (Downloaded Downgrade .zip file)
  7. Wait till you see the “flashed successfully message”
  8. Select “reboot system now” enjoy Nougat!



 
Now your OnePlus 5 is running on Android Nougat.
